If you wish to use this Service, you may access the application directly through your campus-wide ID, or Single Sign-on. For users without a single sign-on option, you will be provided an individual account by your administrator. Access to the Service may be obtained directly through hero.sidewalkpro.com with appropriate credentials. We will store personal information that we require to communicate with you for the Service, and otherwise manage our relationship with you. This personal information may include your name, your email address, telephone number, and a unique value (or identification number) from your organization. We may also ask for information about your gender, the organization with which you are affiliated, areas of study and the number of years of attendance or employment at your organization.
“COOKIES”: Our Service uses "Cookies", which are small data files used to identify returning users so that you are recognized by the Website, and so your experience on the Website is both familiar and customized. We also automatically collect anonymous information about a User's IP address, browser type and referrer by logging this information from your browser. Your browser can be set to disable Cookies, but doing so may interfere with your use of the Service.

"WEB BEACONS": Our Service uses Web Beacons to log information on our Site and in our emails. We use web beacons to manage cookies, count site visits, and to learn what forms of communication with our users are most effective. Web beacons are digital images which log information our website, or within emails.
In the event that Sidewalk Inc. is acquired or substantially of our assets are acquired, your personal information will be transferred to the acquiring entity.

The primary purpose of obtaining the personal information that you provide is to offer the Service, which includes facilitating course material selection (the “adoptions”), review and endorsement of adoptions by your faculty (or an appointed faculty liaison), review for purchase by your organization (or an appointed third party responsible for acquiring and distributing course materials on behalf of your organization), and disclosure of course material information to students.
We may ask for demographic information about you and your organization. The purpose of this information is to help us understand usage patterns on the Website, which in turn helps us improve the communication between faculty, your organization, involved retail entities, and students. Such information may also be used to improve the overall user experience.
The Website and the Service may contain links to and from other Internet sites that are owned and operated by third parties. Sidewalk Inc. has not reviewed all sites linked to us and does not endorse or imply an endorsement of any kind. We are not responsible for the contents of any such linked site, and the use of any such linked site is solely at your own risk.
We also collect information about your use of the Website that does not personally identify you and such data is used in aggregate to help us improve our Website (for example, the layout of the Website). This information is owned exclusively by us, and may be used by us and our affiliates, at our sole discretion, in any manner we deem appropriate.

Sidewalk Inc. is not responsible for maintaining the security of your username and password. Do not share your username and password with other people. It is your responsibility to notify both your System Administrator, and Sidewalk Inc. if you believe your username or password have been compromised or used in an unauthorized manner. Sidewalk Inc. assumes no responsibility, liability or obligations for any loss or damage resulting from your failure to comply with the security of your username and/or password. You are responsible for all activity and usage of the Service and for all content created on, posted to or accessed under your username and password.
Sidewalk Inc. will NEVER ask you for account information, credit card information, or your password via email or by telephone.
We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal information that you have provided. Although we use accepted standards to secure your information, there is no method of transmission over the Internet that is absolutely secure.
